High in the misty mountains of Yunnan, among ancient forests and quiet hillsides, grow tea trees that have stood for over a hundred years. The name Antrilea comes from “Ancient Tree Leaf”—a small tribute to these timeless trees and the land that nurtures them. More than just a name, it’s a reflection of what we believe: that tea is a gift from nature, meant to be shared slowly, sincerely.

Our story begins in the 1980s, with the He family of Guangdong. For generations, the He family has been deeply respected and widely recognized as a leading force in China's tea industry, particularly in the world of Pu'er. As true masters who have brought together the finest traditions of Pu'er craftsmanship, we have long felt a profound responsibility: to share this beautiful, healthy culture with the world. Mr. He Wenyuan, born into this esteemed family, has spent his life immersed in tea—from climbing remote mountains in search of the finest ancient tea trees, to perfecting the art of hand-processing. Every batch of tea reflects his quiet dedication and meticulous care.

In April 2025, that vision reached a new milestone. We established HONG KONG MAN YUEN TRADING LIMITED as our dedicated overseas business platform, bringing Antrilea onto the international stage—to share the soul of Yunnan’s ancient tea trees with tea lovers across Europe, North America, and beyond.

Our leaves come from core Pu'er regions like Bulang, Banzhang, and Mengsong, where we work closely with over 82 local partners and care for more than 4,300 acres of ancient tea gardens. Most of our trees are between 150 to 500 years old, their deep roots bringing out complexity, depth, and a sense of place in every cup. These centuries-old trees grow naturally among biodiverse forests, with no chemical fertilizers or pesticides—only the pure soil, rain, and mist of the high mountains.

We harvest just once a year, in the spring. After resting through the winter, the trees offer their finest leaves—rich in aroma, full in taste, and naturally sweet. Each leaf is carefully sun-dried and traditionally fermented by skilled hands, with no rush and no shortcuts. The entire process—from plucking, withering, kill-green, rolling, and sun-drying to pressing—is carried out in small batches, overseen by master tea makers who have dedicated their lives to preserving centuries-old techniques. We follow the rhythm of nature, letting the tea speak for itself.

In 2023, our parent company, Wenyuan Tea Industry, became the first tea enterprise in China to receive B Corporation (B Corp) certification—and the 50th certified company in the country. This globally recognized standard confirms that we meet the highest benchmarks in social responsibility, environmental protection, and business transparency. Antrilea, as the overseas business platform under the Wenyuan system, proudly upholds the same principles.
